We all know Ealing Green - the heart of our Borough and Ward. The College has a track record of pushing the boundaries; for example they managed to get planning (advertising) consent for the large sign that they have erected just inside their boundary.
In today's society, everyone seems to want to push the boundaries or get something for nothing.
This relates to a garage that opens onto Rathgar Avenue - which the owners aim to replace with a new building. The first application was in June (172339) and attracted a large number of objections, not least from WRA and the Conservation Panel. Basically this is an overdevelopment.
Those members with long memories will remember that the Temple Community submitted a planning application to replace their unauthorised marquees with a permanent building.
